My name is Sam and I am a stay at home mum to a 5 ½ year old son and a 3

year old daughter. I have been married to my darling husband for 6 years.

 

I was born in South Australia and spent most of my life in the country. I

lived in the UK for 12 months when I met my husband and worked for the

Manchester Commonwealth Games. I never got to the games though as I

became pregnant with my son and we moved back to Australia.

We now live in Melbourne and love it here although it’s hard to be away

from family.

I have always loved craft in one form or another, mum taught me to knit at

an early age and then I learned the basics of crochet and settled into cross

stitch for many years, until I was introduced to the wonderful art of

Scrapbooking and now I am hooked!!  I would describe my ‘style’ as simple

and clean, I love learning new techniques and trying new things. I find

Scrapbooking ever changing and there are always new exciting ideas and

designs to be discovered. 

I have also found that it is a great social craft and a wonderful way to make

new friends.
